Demolition
SHS has been heavily involved in the provision of demolition scaffolding. This demanding environment should never be underestimated and only the most professional companies can even begin to compete. As such, SHS have recently completed 2 of the most challenging demolition programmes of work in the country ( Park House in Oxford Street and 20 Fenchurch Street) and have recently began another extremely demanding work schedule within the centre of London (The Regent Palace Hotel – Piccadilly).
Pictured below and particularly worthy of note was the programme of works required to demolish 20 Fenchurch Street in order to make way for the Rafael Vinoly designed “Walkie Talkie Tower”. In 2008 this project was well known as the “toughest demolition job in London”. SHS was extremely proud to be the preferred scaffold contractor for such an impressive and large scale task.
